Requirements for Barrel Anodising
- Smallest parts are made of aluminium (anodised quality)
- all aluminium alloys that can be anodised are suitable
- the workpieces should normally not exceed the mass of 2–8 mm diameter and 2–65 mm length
- round, cylindrical shapes are most suitable
- they can be processed as bulk material in medium to high quantities
- the minimum quantity that can be drum anodised is approx. 2 cubic decimetres volume
Barrel anodising is a special process from Stalder Finish. All specifications are to be regarded as guidelines. Each workpiece must be checked individually and needs its own "recipe".
