Reject Rate

The reject rate is influenced by various factors such as colour, position of the workpieces in relation to each other, size, geometry, customer requirements, etc.

Depending on the geometry, it is about 0.5–20%.

In case of higher percentages, repair runs can be agreed upon, for which the applied anodised layer is first stripped. Then the parts pass through the coating process again. As this sequence can be carried out several times depending on the agreement, the remaining scrap rates can be reduced considerably.

After a feasibility test we can explain a more precise assessment.
