Since March 2018, the company has operated its own photovoltaic system on the roofs of Plant 3 and Plant 4. Wäger AG has completely covered the flat roofs with 268 of the latest solar modules. The system generates approx. 66,000 kWh of electricity per year. The entire photovoltaic system with 72 kWp is used for own consumption. Over the next 6–8 years, the investment of CHF 90,000 will be amortised again. Stalder AG focuses on sustainable energy solutions.
